Jordan Spieth is bidding to complete a career Grand Slam when he tees it up at the PGA Championship from 14-17 May.

It has been almost a decade since the American won his last major, the Open Championship in 2017, which came two years after victories at the Masters Tournament and the US Open.

Spieth was at the top of his game in 2015 and almost added the PGA Championship to his list of accolades after finishing runner-up to Jason Day, while he placed T4 at the Open Championship.

But his top 10 since then in the second major of the year came in 2019 (T3), and the 32-year-old hasn't been anywhere near his best in recent seasons.

Spieth has dropped out of the top 50 in the OWGR after failing to secure a top-10 finish in 2026, but the three-time major winner feels his game is improving to the point where he can challenge for the title at Aronimink.

"If I can win one more tournament in my life, it would obviously be this one for that reason [Grand Slam]," he said. "But the easiest way to do that is to not try to, in a weird way.

"Just go out and get ready for the first hole, get a good game plan in and attack it the way it needs to be attacked. My game has been getting better and better. It's plenty good to have a chance to win."
