Betway Big Easy Tour 4
Glenvista Country Club
Johannesburg, South Africa
June 24-26, 2026
Prize fund: R150 000
While much focus of the Betway Big Easy Tour will be placed on players such as Jordan Wessels and Daniel Smith, Ruben Van Den Berg remains hot on their heels after already claiming success at the tournament this year.
As one of SA’s highest-ranking prospects on the world stage, Van Den Berg currently holds a world number 1858.
After five outings this season, Van Berg claimed his first professional win in May when he finished first at the Betway Big Easy Tour 2 at the ERPM Golf Club.
His lone victory was particularly refreshing, given that he missed cut at the Betway Big Easy Tour 1 and followed the same result at the Sunbet Challenge this season.
Van Den Berg recently participated in the KCM Golf Challenge at the Nchanga Golf Club on 18 June, where he managed only a T25 placing while Samuel Simpson bagged the title.
After earning R24 040 in career prize money so far, Van Den Berg notes an impressive 4 birdies per round and has recorded 102 eagles.
Van Den Berg, seemingly a birdie specialist, has recorded 2,478 birdies so far as he continues to be a top talent in South African golf.
