Max Verstappen will be confident of registering a fourth successive win at the
Spanish Grand Prix, having won the last three races in Montmelo.

The Red Bull Racing driver failed to secure a podium spot at the Monaco Grand Prix on May 25, the most recent race on the 2025 Formula One World Championship calendar.
Verstappen started on the fourth grid and he went on to finish in position four, missing out on a 117th career podium spot in Formula One, but he picked up 12 points.
Formula One title ambitions
The 27-year-old is still placed third in the World Drivers' Championship standings and is currently on 136 points.
Verstappen is 22 points behind second-placed Lando Norris of McLaren and 25 points behind leader Oscar Piastri of McLaren.
Why Verstappen could win the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix
The talented racing driver has been unstoppable at the Spanish Grand Prix in the last few years, winning three successive races in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Verstappen will be determined to replicate the form that saw him win the Spanish event in order to boost his bid to retain the Formula One world title.
What did he say?
“Honestly, there was not much for us to improve on, because I had a big gap behind,” Verstappen said after finishing fourth at the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix.
“So, for us to just stay out and maybe hope for a red flag or whatever, it was the only option. We could have pitted sooner, but then you just sit there in fourth anyway.
“This is not our track – it’s as simple as that. Hopefully it’ll be better [in Spain]… hopefully a bit closer to what we had in Imola, but we’ll see next week.”
