Marc Marquez will be determined to bounce back and challenge for a win at the Hungarian MotoGP aboard his Ducati Lenovo machine.

The reigning MotoGP world champion returned from injury on 31 May at the Italian MotoGP in Mugello, where he finished fifth in the sprint event.
In the main Grand Prix, Marquez ran with the top group for much of the race before finishing seventh, +10.762s behind the winner, Marco Bezzecchi.
MotoGP ambitions
Nicknamed "the Ant," Marquez sits eighth in the 2026 MotoGP Riders' standings with 71 points, 102 points behind championship leader Marco Bezzecchi.
After dominating in 2025, the Ant is working through early-season challenges and recovering from injury.

“I'm very happy with how the weekend went. I managed to show my speed at times, but I knew that I would struggle a bit more over race distance," Marquez said after the 2026 Italian MotoGP.
"I was still able to battle for fourth place for most of the race and that's a positive. I had a hard time in the right-handers and, towards the end, also with the changes of direction, but I think it's normal as this is one of the most demanding tracks on the calendar.
"I tried to use all the tricks up my sleeve, but the others were simply quicker. I'm happy because this is a very important first step in my recovery and we'll see how much we can improve in the upcoming races.”
