As two teams gripped by the clutches of the Serie A relegation zone, Fiorentina and Pisa will do battle in a scrap for crucial points at the Artemio Franchi Stadium next Monday.
Fiorentina are currently 18th position on the table on 21 points and spent the majority of the season fighting at the lower end of the table. Much of the same can be said about Pisa, who are in 19th place with 15 points to their name after 25 games played.
Pisa, who suffered a 2-1 loss to AC Milan in their most recent fixture, recorded three losses and two draws in their previous five and are nine points from safety. Pisa are winless in their previous 14 league games and last tasted victory on 7 November 2025, during a 1-0 victory against Cremonese at Arena Garibaldi.
Fiorentina on the other hand, noted a 2-1 win against Como during Matchday 25 and are three points away from the drop zone. Regarding their latest form sheet, Fiorentina recorded two wins, two defeats and one stalemate in their last five league ties.

With Fiorentina’s recent win over Como in mind, coach Paulo Vanoli has urged his side to remain courageous in their attempt to stay in the division this season.
“Since I arrived, I’ve tried to get this message of how to achieve safety across. It’s been a difficult transition, it’s not easy for a team like Fiorentina to go from a goal like fighting for European place to fighting for survival,” Vanoli said.
“We have to have courage and everything I have done, I’ve done to try and find new solutions, because this is a team with lots of quality.”
