Amid a spell of inconsistent results, AS Roma will target a return to the winning column when they take on a struggling Pisa outfit at the Stadio Olimpico on Friday night
Roma will go into their next game with defeat in their stride following a heavy 5-2 loss against Inter Milan during Matchday 31.
The loss saw Roma slump to sixth position on the log, four points adrift from the UEFA Champions League spot for next season. As it stands, Roma accumulated 54 points from 31 games so far while they recorded one win, three losses and one draw in their last five Serie A fixtures.
Pisa on the other hand, face the prospect of relegation following 31 matches after noting just 18 points in 20th position so far.
In what has been a season to forget for Pisa, the Tuscany side have just two wins to their name currently while recording four losses in their last handful of Serie A games. Nonetheless, Pisa are nine points from safety while having the worst defence in the league after conceding a massive 55 goals to date.

Speaking after Roma’s heavy defeat to Inter, Gian Piero Gasperini believes that rediscovering form is of major importance heading into the business end of the campaign.
"It is difficult for us, difficult for Juventus, for Como and Atalanta, all the teams challenging for one place," Gasperini said.
"We are a little behind right now, but we'll do everything possible to recover lost ground, that is for sure."
