Ludvig Aberg will be hoping to become the second Swedish golfer to win the
Hero World Challenge after Henrik Stenson - the 2019 winner.
What to know about Aberg
The 25-year-old turned professional in June 2023 having been ranked number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for a total of 29 weeks.
Within five months of turning professional, Åberg achieved his first tournament victories on both the European Tour and the PGA Tour.

The former Texas Tech University student was in action at the recent 2024 RSM Classic in Georgia, USA where he finished 17th.
Aberg is currently ranked fifth in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best overall ranking is fourth place.
Why Aberg is among the favourites
Aberg is the second-highest-ranked golfer on the OWGR among those who will compete in the 2024 Hero World Challenge after Scottie Scheffler.
The two-time Ben Hogan Award winner, who finished second in the 2024 Masters Tournament, has the ability to win this weekend's tournament.
