Kick-off is at 17:30
As yet another tantalizing instalment of the Premier League run-in period approaches, Manchester City and Arsenal will clash in a potential title-deciding fixture at the Etihad this Sunday.
City will go into their next league match on the back of a dominant 3-0 win against Chelsea on Sunday, as the Citizens moved within six points of log leaders Arsenal with a game to spare.
After accumulating 64 points from 31 games, City are well on track to win their first league title since the 2023/24 campaign, having also recorded three wins and two draws in their last five matches.
Sitting in second spot, City currently boast the best attacking record in the league after scoring a total of 63 goals to date, one more than the Gunners.
The London side suffered a 2-1 loss against Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium this past Saturday, which was only their fourth defeat in the league this season.
Mikel Arteta’s side have cracked the 70-point mark after 32 matches, their stubborn defence is the hallmark of their reign at the top of the pile, having conceded the least amount of goals this season (24).
As for their form sheet, Arsenal will travel to Manchester after noting four wins and one loss in their previous handful of league matches.

Reflecting on City’s upcoming task against Arsenal, Pep Guardiola heaped praise on the Gunners as the best team in Europe, expressing that their consistency has been unrivalled.
“We have done a good three games but the best team in England so far is Arsenal, the best team in Europe so far is Arsenal, because the numbers are there, the consistency they had,” said Guardiola.
“I know how difficult. Always a warning has to be there. We have a long week, we’re going to train good, to prepare good. I know perfectly the manager, I know how good he is (at) adjusting things. But at the same time, we play at home with our people.
“I know how tough. To (beat) Arsenal once is so difficult. Forty-nine games they lost three in all competitions. I know how good they are.”
