United States will be looking to wrestle back the Ryder Cup from Europe when the two teams go head-to-head at Bethpage from 26-28 September 2025.
Europe are the defending champions after they defeated USA by a score of 16½ to 11½ in the 2023 edition which was held in Rome, Italy.
USA still lead the way for most Ryder Cup wins with 27, with Europe having closed the gap following their 15th victory two years ago.
Keegan Bradley captains USA and is the youngest golfer since Arnold Palmer in 1963 to lead his team at the age of 39.
Scottie Scheffler, J.J. Spaun, Xander Schauffele, Russell Henley, Harris English and Bryson DeChambeau qualified automatically for the USA team, while Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Ben Griffin, Cameron Young, Patrick Cantlay and Sam Burns were the captain's picks.
Luke Donald skippers Europe once more, becoming the first European to retain the role since Bernard Gallacher in 1993.
Rory McIlroy, Robert MacIntyre, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, Rasmus Hojgaard and Tyrrell Hatton secured automatic qualification for the Europe team, with Shane Lowry, Sepp Straka, Ludvig Aberg, Viktor Hovland, Matt Fitzpatrick and Jon Rahm making up the captain's picks.
Bradley has told his players to savour the experience as the Ryder Cup affords them the rare opportunity of being part of a team.
"In golf, you're so alone all the time in this process," he said. "Then when you're in a team room or even just having dinner last night and you're looking around at the guys and they're all in this together.
"You're looking at guys from J.J. Spaun to Ben Griffin to Scottie Scheffler and all of a sudden we're all on the same team here. It's really such a special feeling to be a part of because it's so rare.
"What I've been telling the team as well is you never know when your last Ryder Cup is. My last Ryder Cup was the deciding point with Jamie Donaldson and I certainly didn't think that was my last shot in a Ryder Cup. You really want to enjoy every second of these because you never know when it's done."
History is against the away team, with Europe not having won in the United States since 2012, while USA's last victory on European soil came in 1993. Donald has urged his players to embrace the atmosphere rather than fear it in New York.
"We understand what's going to happen to us. It's our reaction to that that's really important," he said.
"We all have fears. We all have anxieties and we all find Ryder Cups pressurised. But these are top athletes that understand how to walk towards that fear.
"But, again, you want to embrace what a Ryder Cup represents and then part of that is embracing the crowd and embracing that atmosphere, and I think certainly these guys will be ready for that."
