Lando Norris will be looking to become the third driver to win back-to-back
Singapore Grand Prix titles in the 21st century after Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel.

The McLaren driver missed out on a podium spot at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on 21 September, the most recent race on the 2025 Formula One World Championship calendar.
Norris started on the seventh grid and he endured a disappointing race as he finished seventh, but he left Baku with six points in the bag for his efforts.
Formula One title ambitions
The Millfield alumnus is still placed second in the World Drivers' Championship standings, having accumulated 299 points.
Norris is now 25 points behind leader Oscar Piastri of McLaren and 44 points ahead of third-placed Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing.
Why Norris could win the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix
The 2024 Formula One World Drivers' Championship runner-up tends to perform well in the Singapore Grand Prix, having finished second in 2023 before being crowned champion in 2024.
Norris, who has won five races this season, has now reduced the gap between him and Piastri to 25 points, and he will be eager to move closer to his teammate by successfully defending the Singapore Grand Prix.
What did he say?
"A tricky race and a tricky weekend overall. Today the pace was okay, but not enough to overtake," Norris said after finishing seventh at the 2025 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
"After not doing a good enough job yesterday, and a lack of real strategy options today, there wasn't much more we could have done.
"Frustrating and not how I wanted the weekend to go, but we'll get our heads down now and look ahead to Singapore."
