Quotes

“The momentum was coming from when we were not feeling very good, focusing on how we could improve and analysing deeply individually and collectively, getting our way forward," Villa manager Unai Emery said after masterminding a win over Burnley.

“We did it. Now, we have the momentum better, but we are calm and we will keep going. We will recover some players and give confidence to some players as well, but we will keep being very demanding.

“This is the way we have to build here: be demanding, be consistent.”

Head-to-Head
Villa emerged as 2-0 winners over Tottenham in their last meeting in the league, which was on 16 May at Villa Park.

The win ended the Lions' two-match winless run in the Premier League against Spurs, who had won two games in a row.
