Still leading the way at the
Serie A summit, Napoli will now turn their attention to Bologna this weekend following a frustrating outing during matchday 10.
The reigning Serie A league champions will go into their next game on the back of a tense 0-0 draw with Como this past weekend.
With a chance to record a three peat of wins, Napoli’s stalemate saw them gain 22 points from 10 matches played, one point ahead of second-placed Inter Milan.
Bologna on the other hand had a positive outing during matchday 10 and jotted down an impressive 3-1 win against Parma on Sunday.
A brace by Santiago Castro and a single effort by Juan Miranda at the Ennio Tardini Stadium saw Bologna take their season tally to 18 points in fifth place.
Reflecting on Napoli’s draw with Como, Antonio Conte expressed that his side put on a ‘serious performance’ at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
"I saw a match played at a high, intense level. They can complain about the penalty, but in the second half we deserved more," Conte said.
"Today Como is a real team, they are doing great things. Congratulations to them, but also to us for putting in a serious performance."
