With UEFA Champions League qualification the foremost objective for Juventus this season, the popular Italian giants will now look to end their campaign on a high when they face Torino away on Sunday.

Juventus suffered an unfortunate 2-0 defeat against Fiorentina in their most recent league fixture, a result that saw them trail fourth position by two points.

Sitting in sixth place, Juventus accumulated 68 points after 37 matches and have already booked their spot in the Europa League for next season. Nonetheless, Juve recorded two wins, two draws and one loss in their last five league ties.

Torino on the other hand, will hope to return to the winning column in their last game following their 2-1 defeat against Cagliari during Matchday 37.

The Turin-based side noted 44 points for the season in 12th position, recording one victory, two defeats and two stalemates in their last five Serie A outings.

Speaking after Juve’s loss against Fiorentina, Luciano Spalletti believes his side lacked quality throughout the 90 minutes, while he suggested he could have made tactical mistakes.

“We had to play football today, keeping a high level of quality and personality. First of all, I have to question myself rather than the footballers,” Spalletti said.

“As I told them today, if this is what my team offers, I must assess mostly what I’ve done, before analysing what they’ve done.

“The performance was dreadful in many aspects. Sometimes we were not lucky as well. We went 1-0 down despite not conceding much. We didn’t start well; we didn’t win many duels, and we didn’t fuel the atmosphere in the stadium.”
