As another team vying for a place in the UEFA Champions League for next season, Juventus will hope to get back to winning ways when they travel to face Lecce on Saturday.

Juve will hope to cling onto fourth position with three games to go in Serie A, with fifth placed AS Roma breathing down their necks by a slender one-point margin.

The iconic Serie A side are one a run of two consecutive draws, with the most recent being a 1-1 stalemate alongside Verona during Matchday 35. En-route to accumulating 65 points from 35 matches, Juventus recorded three wins and two draws in their last five league outings.

Lecce faces a different prospect altogether as they sit four points above the drop zone ahead of the last three league matches of the season.

While they may have battled to yield positive results in the last couple of weeks, a crucial 2-1 victory against Pisa in Matchday 35 provided breathing space in their attempt to remain in the division this season.

However, their overall form sheet is worrying, showing two losses, two draws and just one win in their last five ties.

Reflecting on Juventus’ draw with Verona, Luciano Spalletti spoke of his disappointment at only gathering a point from the match and mentioned that his side had the capabilities to ‘turn’ things around.

"We must always evaluate what happens, analyse things, and then try to improve for the next matches, because those are the ones that matter now, seeing as we didn't win this one," Spalletti said.

"Clearly, we are disappointed, we have regrets, and, unfortunately, this happens in football. We were not fortunate, and with a little more sharpness, we could've turned it around, even if you cannot always control everything.”
