The Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer secured a strong second-place finish at the 2026 French MotoGP at Le Mans on 10 May.
Bezzecchi completed the all-Aprilia podium behind teammate Jorge Martin, showing excellent race pace and consistency throughout the weekend.
MotoGP ambitions
The 2015 Italian Moto3 championship winner currently leads the 2026 MotoGP Riders' standings with 128 points after five rounds.
Bezzecchi holds a slender one-point advantage over teammate Jorge Martin and is determined to maintain his position as the championship leader.
Why Bezzecchi could win the 2026 Catalan MotoGP
Bezzecchi has been exceptionally consistent this season, regularly fighting at the front on the Aprilia RS-GP as he returns to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
The 27-year-old is one of the championship protagonists and with Aprilia’s current momentum, he will be confident on a track where he has shown podium potential in the past to strengthen his title challenge.
