Serie A
Matchday 29
Napoli vs Lecce
Stadio Diego Armando Maradona
Naples, Italy
Saturday, 14 March 2026
Kick-off is at 18:00
In the midst of a challenging 2025/26 Serie A season, an in-form Napoli side will now turn their attention to Lecce on Saturday with the hope of extending their winning streak.
As it stands, Napoli are third on the Serie A log with 56 points from 28 matches. After losing much ground in the chase for a second-consecutive Scudetto title, Napoli now trail log leaders Inter Milan by 11 points.
However, their most recent result was a 2-1 victory against Torino at home last Friday, which followed a much-needed 2-1 win against Verona at the end of February.
Overall, Napoli have now recorded three wins, one loss, and one draw in their last handful of Serie A assignments.
Lecce currently occupies 16th position, having secured just 27 points from 28 matches. With 15 losses, Lecce is one of the teams facing the prospect of relegation this season, sitting three points above the drop zone.
As a glimmer of hope, Lecce will head into their next match on the back of a 2-1 home win over Cremonese this past Sunday, as they have secured three wins and two defeats in their last five league matches.

Following Napoli’s victory over Torino, Antonio Conte spoke of the joy in welcoming some of his players back from injury and that the reigning league champions remain a resilient outfit.
"Very, very satisfied, the way they've returned, it seems like they never left, but they really have,” Conte said.
"We've been without him [De Bruyne] for many months, even without Lukaku, but the strength of this team has been in never looking for excuses for absence.
"We never lose our spirit, our desire, and our determination. In times of great emergency, there has always been a great response.
"That's how we won a Supercoppa Italiana and have always remained at the top of the table. It wasn't at all a given."
