Former world No. 1 Brooks Koepka continues his comeback on the PGA Tour with an appearance at the Houston Open.
The American joined LIV Golf in June 2022 and was subsequently suspended by the PGA Tour, although he made history by winning the 2023 PGA Championship as a member of their rival Tour.
But Koepka announced in December 2025 that he would be leaving LIV Golf and returned to the PGA Tour one month later, with his first outing coming at the Farmers Insurance Open.
The 35-year-old, who has won five Majors, also featured at the Phoenix Open, the Cognizant Classic, the Players Championship, and the Valspar Championship.
His best showing came on the Champion course in Palm Beach Gardens (T9), while he finished inside the top 20 at TPC Sawgrass (T13) and Innisbrook (T18).
A bizarre incident during the Valspar Championship saw Koepka comfort a young girl who had been run over by a golf cart carrying spectators at the par-3 15th.
"Not golf-wise, no," he said when asked if it had affected his play. "I just felt terrible for, I believe her name is Shay, so from all the reports you've got, she's okay, thankfully. So that's all that matters, as long as she's okay.
"I know she's probably a little scared, and I just felt for her at the time. So it's unfortunate, it shouldn't have happened, but as long as she's okay, no, nothing crazy happened to her, then it will be okay."
Last five Houston Open winners:
2025 - Min Woo Lee (AUS)
2024 - Stephan Jaeger (GER)
2022 - Tony Finau (USA)
2021 - Jason Kokrak (USA)
2020 - Carlos Ortiz (MEX)
