Fabio Di Giannantonio will be eager to fight for a win at the Czechia MotoGP with his Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Ducati to keep up with the top two riders.

The 27-year-old was caught up in the dramatic Turn 1 crash at the Hungarian MotoGP on 7 June, but remounted and fought back to finish 12th.
Di Giannantonio showed strong recovery pace on the Ducati despite the early incident on what was a difficult weekend for the VR46 team.

The Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer sits third in the 2026 MotoGP Riders' standings with 138 points.
Nicknamed 'Diggia,' Di Giannantonio trails championship leader Marco Bezzecchi by 42 points and is determined to close the gap in the upcoming races.

Di Giannantonio has performed strongly in 2026, consistently fighting near the front and showing excellent race pace on the Ducati.

“Luckily, I’m ok. I just have some back pain. The important thing is that everyone is ok, without fractures, because the incident was very bad. If we look at our race after the crash," Di Giannantonio said after his 12th place finish at the Hungarian MotoGP.
"I had a very good pace and it was possible to fight for the podium, we could have been in third place. We knew that everything we did was good, from the bike to the tyres. So, it’s a pity and I am frustrated by this. In terms of points, we lost something, but we could have maintained the Top 3. Now it’s time to rest a bit and we will come back stronger in Brno.”
