Oklahoma City Thunder will be determined to end their long wait for their first
National Basketball Association (NBA) title when they face the Indiana Pacers.
Build-up to the final
The Thunder had their best season in franchise history, finishing 68-14 to secure the top seed in the Western Conference for a second straight year.
Coach Mark Daigneault's side defeated the Memphis Grizzlies (First Round), Denver Nuggets (Western Conference semi-finals, and Minnesota Timberwolves (Western Conference Finals) in the Playoffs to reach the NBA Finals.

The Thunder will be without Nikola Topic, who is expected to miss the NBA Finals due to an ACL injury that he sustained in April 2025.
The injury has ruled the 19-year-old point guard out for the rest of the season.

The Thunder are coming into the NBA Finals as the second-largest betting favourite over the past 20 years, with only the 2018 Golden State Warriors side having shorter pre-Finals odds since 2005.
