Aragon MotoGP trophy.

The Ducati BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider failed to secure a podium spot at the British MotoGP on May 25, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Marquez narrowly missed out on a podium spot as he finished fifth, but he won the sprint race, which saw him collect 12 points from the event.
MotoGP title ambitions
The 29-year-old is placed second in the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 172 points from seven races.
Alex is 24 points behind leader Marc Marquez of Ducati and 48 points ahead of third-placed Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati.
Why Alex Marquez could win the 2025 Aragon MotoGP
The 2012 CEV Moto3 season's title came close to winning the Aragon MotoGP in 2020 as he finished second behind Alex Rins.
Marquez will be buoyed by the fact that he won the sprint race at the British MotoGP and this should give him the confidence to win this weekend's event.
What did he say?
“Having won in Jerez, this ‘non victory’ hurts less, but it’s clear that we missed a great opportunity," Alex Marquez said after the British Grand Prix.
"We had a great start but maybe I overdid it and crashed. The red flag helped me, although maybe it helped Marc [Marquez] more.
"We’re leaving Silverstone with two points less, but with confidence after a good – yet defensive – race.”
