Hosts Switzerland will look to book their place in the quarter-finals of Euro 2025 when they take on Finland at the Stade de Geneve on Thursday, July 10.
 
The Red Crosses are making their third appearance at the UEFA Women's Championship and they've yet to qualify for the knockout stages after failing to get out of their group in 2017 and 2022.
 
Pia Sundhage's side got their campaign up and running with a 2-0 victory over Iceland on July 6, having suffered a 2-1 defeat to Norway in their Group A opener four days earlier.
 
The Swiss trail the Norwegians by three points in second place and are above the Fins on goals scored, with both teams tied on three points going into the final round of the group phase.
  
Finland's best showing came on their debut in 2005 when they reached the semi-finals, but they too bowed out at the group stages in 2022, in what was their fourth outing at the continental showpiece.
 
Marko Saloranta's side opened proceedings with a narrow 1-0 win over Nordic rivals Iceland on July 2 before being beaten 2-1 by Norway four days later.
 
Saloranta felt their dominant display on matchday 2 in Sion warranted all three points, saying: "This result was brutal after the performance. We really should have won this match."
  
Sundhage praised the home crowd for lifting her players in the first two games and expressed her gratitude for the wonderful atmosphere creates by their supporters.
 
"Both in Basel and now in Bern, we were carried by the spectators. I didn't know that the Swiss could create such an atmosphere," she said.
