Jordan Spieth is one of the big names set to tee off at the
Wyndham Championship from Thursday, July 31 to Sunday, August 3.
The world No. 51 is a three-time major winner and will be making his fifth appearance at the Sedgefield Country Club, where he finished second way back in 2013 on his debut.
Spieth returned to Greensboro, North Carolina last year for the first time since 2020, but endured a disappointing showing after missing the cut.
The American has 13 career PGA Tour wins under his belt, but he's experienced a drought since claiming his last victory at the RBC Heritage in 2022.
Spieth's best finish of 2025 came at the The Byron Nelson (4th) and the Phoenix Open (T4), while he also achieved another two top-10 results.
The 32-year-old admits he needs to start winning again in a bid to force his way into contention for the Ryder Cup as one of Keegan Bradley's final 12.
"I've got to win. I've got to work my way in. I think statistically I'm playing good enough, but I'm just not finishing high enough," Spieth said.
"I didn't have enough points from - I didn't have enough points to get off to a good start from last year, and then I essentially missed four elevated events and it's based on money, and that's a killer. So I needed to make it up.
"I know if I can get somewhat close - I feel like I'm in similar to even a little better position than what Justin [Thomas] was in '23. He was outside the Playoffs altogether, where I think maybe if you go off recency bias, I would have been playing better this last half of this year coming into the end of this year."
