Marc Marquez will be eager to equal the record for the most
Czechia MotoGP victories (four) and emulate Valentino Rossi (2003, 2005, 2008 and 2009).

The Ducati Lenovo Team rider claimed a podium spot at the German MotoGP on July 13, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Marquez was unstoppable at the Sachsenring as he won both the sprint event and main race, which saw him accumulate an impressive 37 points.
MotoGP title ambitions
The accomplished Italian sportsman is still sitting at the top of the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 344 points from 11 races.
Marc is 83 points ahead of second-placed Alex Marquez of Ducati and 147 points ahead of third-placed Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati.
Why Marc Marquez could win the 2025 Czechia MotoGP
The 32-year-old has been crowned champion on three occasions in the Czechia MotoGP, winning the race in 2013, 2017 and 2019.
Marquez, who is in the best form of his life, having won each of the last four races in the ongoing season, is a clear favourite to win the Czechia MotoGP for a record-equalling fourth time.
What did he say?
“It’s obviously wonderful to celebrate my 200th Grand Prix with a win. I really wanted this victory at the Sachsenring because, as we know, it’s a track that suits me," Marquez said after the 2025 German MotoGP.
"The asphalt was slippery, but I rode well and stayed focused – something that will be key for the second half of the season. I tried to read the conditions the best I could: there was a bit of tailwind at turn one – not too strong, but enough to force me to change my braking marker.
"And the rain had washed away some rubber from the track. The crash marks made me concentrate even more.”
