Euro 2024
Final
Spain v England
Olympiastadion
Berlin, Germany
Sunday, 14 July 2024
Kick-off is at 21h00
Dani Olmo is hoping Spain can take that one last step to glory when they face England in the
Euro 2024 final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Sunday, July 14.
La Furia Roja are viewed as odds-on favourites to claim a record fourth European Championship title and their first since 2012 after overcoming two juggernauts in the previous two rounds.
Luis de la Fuente's side beat host nation Germany 2-1 in the quarter-finals courtesy of Mikel Merino's 119th-minute winner and they had to come from behind to eliminate France by the same scoreline in the semi-finals.
They were trailing to Randal Kolo Muani's header after just nine minutes, but a wonder goal from Lamine Yamal on 21 minutes restored parity before Olmo completed the comeback win four minutes later.

The RB Leipzig attacking midfielder is the joint-top scorer in the tournament with three goals and he's looking to follow in the footsteps of the Euro 2008 and 2012-winning teams by going all the way in the German capital.
"There is one step left. It is unbelievable to be in the final," Olmo said. "It doesn't matter who scored my goal. It was important for the team.
"We deserve to be in this final. We are a step away from glory. It was unfortunate to fall a goal behind but we did not give up. Then Lamine scored an absolutely unbelievable goal."
